Where can I find a good selection of loose tea in Singapore?
Kaytee asked:
I just moved to Singapore, thus don’t know yet where to look for specific stuff. I like brewing my own gourmet tea and was wondering whether there is a specialized tea store selling loose tea leaves of variety of types of teas. Thanks!
No, really I am asking about tea – Chinese, Japanese, Indian, green, oolong, Darjeeling, Earl Grey…. Help?

What industries/sectors are growing or remaining stable during the recession?
Bret asked:
For example, I can imagine that many middle class families are limiting certain “luxury items” such as going out to fancy restaurants and gourmet coffee shops. So, hence you will see a growth in the home cooking industry (grocery, cook books, etc).

What books are out there that can give me the basics in learning how to cook?
BlueGuitar68 asked:
My wife and I recently separated and she used to do all the cooking. Now that I’m alone, I need to learn to cook for myself. I am looking for a resource that will give me grounding in cooking fundamentals, like how to prepare certain types of meats (poultry vs. beef), create certain types of sauces, and how to develop into a gourmet. Help!
