From 1992 it’s the Galloping Gourmet with Graham Kerr followed by a TSW look at what’s coming on later on including Coronation Street. The opening of The Young Doctors is also in the video.

funny, i was just a kid in 1970 but i remember it as a morning show. late morning. i could be wrong, that was a very long time ago.

His wife actually had a severe heart attack, at least later on, and that’s why the change of diets. Personally, I think it’s great because he has a lot of great meal ideas that most can cook now.
Actually, the show was syndicated. In the NY area, the show was on at 1 PM on WCBS during the early Seventies.
squid… ugh, why can’t this guy cook something American, like burgers and fries, for God’s sake???

He was in a bad car wreck and disappeared from our screens for a long time. Also, his wife had cancer. In order to help his wife he changed both their diets drastically. She survived cancer and so together they vowed to help people change the way they ate. Thus, they both lost weight.

the original “Galloping Gourmet” show in the 1960s was broadcast on the east coast at 3PM on ABC. At 3:30PM “DARK SHADOWS” was on and was the number 1 show at the time for daytime serials. I think the Galloping Gourmet benefited a lot from being on just before that popular daytime soap opera.

I saw the West 175 logo on a show called Graham Kerr’s Kitchen. It’s on on american life network,let me give you the days for the show.MON-FRI 12:30 PM & 5:00 PM and SUN at 3:30 PM.don’t miss it.
we also took out all the flavor. he was much better as the galloping gourmet. his show is in a cheesy (lo-fat, of course) early 90s infomercial-style …but thanks for the memories.
